As you will see below, we always like to bring you interesting Spiders, and the more unusual the better. In the past we had for sale on the site a unique Nescafe Spider. This time we don't think we'll find a spider with a more interesting history.....ever!!! As you will read, this car was the personal car of Benoit Jacob, the man who designed the Spider, and it is still registered in his name.

My team mates race car is now for sale. This stunning metallic silver over dark grey car has been owned by us (we have three) for about 3 years. The Ex-Benoit Jacob Renault Sport Spider, yellow, extremely rare 'no-windscreen version', LHD (all 'no-windscreen versions' were sold as LHD only), 11'000 miles from new (18'000kms), the condition is 'as new'. The car has a set of new Michelin tires and received two full services with two cambelt changes (one at 3'500kms and one at 13'000kms). This car was the personal car of the Renault Sport Spider designer Benoit Jacob and the car is still registered in his name. Jacob also signed the car. The sale includes an original print of an important Spider rendering by Benoit Jacob (published in numerous magazines and books) that was the 'key design sketch' and features a yellow 'no windscreen' Spider- exactly in the same spec. as described above. This car was recently featured in the October Issue of 'Classic & Sportscar' magazine.
