Mike at Tollbar used to run drivers in the the Renault Spider Cup in the UK. He is based near Chesterfield in Derbyshire and knows lots about looking after these cars correctly and setting up the race cars. Tollbar Racing look after race cars, and when I've been up there I've seen all sorts of things in their workshops, from Chevrons, with Hart engines, Porsche, TVR and stuff I didn't recognise. They will work on road cars, and as they are out in the middle of no-where, where the rent must be cheap, I think his hourly rates are Very reasonable for the knowledge you're buying.
They also do race support, and will take your car along for the weekend to the meeting and make sure it is looked after.

Steve Waudby is the god of the 6 speed Sadev gearbox. Another really nice bloke who used to look after and run some spiders when he was at Harlow Motorsport. Steve still is the UK agent for Sadev and the guy to contact for any work needed on your gearbox.
